College: Bachelors-University of North Alabama. Masters-Arkansas State University

Bio: Coach Garrett is entering his third year as the Head Coach of his alma mater, the

Rogers Pirates. In year two on the job, he led the Pirates to their first County Championship in five years, a playoff berth and a 7-4 record. In his first year, he led the Pirates to a playoff berth and a 5-6 record, losing in the first round to the eventual state runner-up. Previously he was the head coach at Collinsville High School where they finished 6-4 and averaged giving up only 13 points per game. He bolsters an illustrious young career that includes 2 State Championships as an assistant as well as stops working for two Hall of Fame coaches in Bob Godsey and Dale Pruitt. He began his football career in 2009 coaching defensive line at his alma mater, Rogers High School. In 2010, Coach Garrett moved to Hartselle High School where he coached the defensive line and inside linebackers for Bob Godsey in 2011 and 2012 and was a part of the 2011 5A State Championship football team. In 2014, Garrett coached offensive and defensive line at Middle Tennessee Christian School in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. He then went to Ravenwood High School in Brentwood, Tennessee and was part of their 6A Tennessee State Championship team in 2015, coaching the outside linebackers and special teams. In 2016- 2017, Coach Garrett served as the outside linebacker coach and special teams coordinator at Albertville High School under Dale Pruitt. In 2017, Garrett served as the defensive coordinator and secondary coach at Oneonta High School. In Garrett’s most recent role as an assistant coach in 2019, he was the defensive coordinator and linebacker coach at Madison Academy serving once again under Bob Godsey.
